Meet the Doctor

Chiropractor/Owner

Dr. Alexander Tuft

Dr. Tuft was born and raised in the bay area. He went to The King's Academy High School in Sunnyvale, CA. After going to Arizona State University to obtain his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, he came back to the bay area and received his Doctorate Of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus. Dr. Tuft is certified as a Human Movement Specialist, and helps people of all ages achieve better health. He practices what he preaches, and believes that with proper guidance, great relationships, and hard work, everyone can improve their quality of life. His goal is to serve the bay area as a source of trustworthy, applicable knowledge in all fields pertaining to health and wellness.

Dr. Tuft received his first chiropractic adjustment when he was 12 years old. He struggled with chronic ear infections all his life and was in constant pain. After years of the traditional Western Medicine approach (antibiotics, surgeries, tubes, and other medications) Dr Tuft and his parents decided to give chiropractic a try. Within a few adjustments, his pain significantly improved! Chiropractic made a huge difference in his quality of life, and his hope is to impact the quality of life of everyone that enters his practice in the same way.

A new patient exam will consist of a thorough history, range of motion evaluation, orthopedic testing, an adjustment, and stretching/exercise recommendation

FAQs

When I click "SCHEDULE HERE" it takes me to a different website, why is that?

At Back On Track Chiropractic, we use Jane as our electronic health record system. Jane is a trusted, HIPAA compliant, health record keeping system. This system allows patients to schedule, pay, store credit card information, and even receive billing statements all in the same place! The patient has full control of what features they choose to use on Jane. When you hit the button "schedule here" you will be redirected to Jane's website. From there, you can create an account and access all these great features. You will only need to create an account once.

Why should I see a chiropractor?

Just like you want a dentist you can trust with your teeth, or a mechanic you can trust with your car, finding a health care practitioner you trust with your body is an invaluable asset to have in your life. Chiropractors are experts in human movement, physiology, and correcting any dysfunctions you may be dealing with. At Back On Track Chiropractic, we work WITH the patient to make sure they have a plan to get better every day, even when they are not in the office.

What types of health insurance do you accept?

Medicare - we are a participating provider with Medicare

United Health Care - we are network providers for United Health Care through Optum Physical Health

Out of Network Billing - If we are out of network for your insurance, they may still reimburse you for the treatments. We provide superbills so you can submit your claim to your insurance

All of the chiropractic videos I see online look aggressive and scary with all the pops and cracks, what if I do not want that?

At Back On Track Chiropractic, we offer multiple different treatment styles to improve your quality of life. If you do not like the pops and cracks, that is completely understandable and there are plenty of other ways to get you better. Back On Track Chiropractic makes every patient feel comfortable and safe before performing any type of treatment.
